We ask you, urgently: don’t scroll past this
Dear readers, Catholic Online was de-platformed by Shopify for our pro-life beliefs. They shut down our Catholic Online, Catholic Online School, Prayer Candles, and Catholic Online Learning Resources—essential faith tools serving over 1.4 million students and millions of families worldwide. Our founders, now in their 70's, just gave their entire life savings to protect this mission. But fewer than 2% of readers donate. If everyone gave just $5, the cost of a coffee, we could rebuild stronger and keep Catholic education free for all. Stand with us in faith. Thank you.Help Now >

Catholic Online proudly declares our desire always to be distinguished and well-known for a particularly "Catholic" Christian character. We openly proclaim our faithfulness to the Holy Father, Pope Francis, Bishop of Rome, who is the Vicar of Christ and Successor of Peter, in union with the Catholic Bishops throughout the world. The Catholic laity and clergy who administer and staff Catholic Online are convinced that, in the tradition of the Church's always bold willingness to make use of means of social communication available in every age of her mission of evangelization, the new and challenging medium of the Internet and cyberspace must have a strong, visible and above all faithful Catholic presence embracing both the Eastern and Western Catholic traditions and Churches.
Therefore, Catholic Online seeks to provide Internet users with resources and connections to sites and information which are truly Catholic. In doing so, we are guided by the time honored principle that in all those things which must be embraced with Catholic faith we must have unity, in those things which are doubtful or open to discussion we must have liberty, while in all things we must foster and manifest true Christian charity.
Thus, Catholic Online will endeavor to provide truly Catholic sites and information consistent with the aforementioned principles, always making choices of content under the guidance of the teaching of the Church's duly appointed pastors and in harmony with the Magisterium, the Supreme Pontiff together with the bishops, the Church's legislation and time-honored traditions, the dictates of common sense and intellectual honesty.
While this is the goal, it may happen from time to time that Catholic Online might inadvertently provide a link or list a site for some individual or organization which espouses teachings not consistent with its manifestly expressed goals or which conflict with Catholic teachings or the Church's duly appointed pastors in an inappropriate way. In that case, recognizing that at times errors can be made, the staff and administrators of Catholic Online humbly request your cooperation and understanding, and furthermore invite you to inform us without delay of anything unsuitable which may have through oversight been included in our menus and web pages so that they may be opportunely reviewed and reevaluated.
Finally, the Catholic Online personnel cordially invite prayers for the Holy Father, our bishops, and all the clergy and religious who have chosen gladly to spend their entire lives to make Christ known and loved.
We are sincerely yours in Christ
